Since 2015, Pelicat has proudly carried Oslo's indie banner in the only right way: In a small studio without windows, with a drawer full of fine microphones - and a shared passion for classic songwriting. Just like George Harrison wrote songs in the seventies, and just like Julia Jacklin writes songs today.

So when the band releases their second album, "Time is on our Side," it is, of course, also written in the same timeless pop tradition. "We have always been inspired by George Harrison, Harry Nilsson, and those guys. But in recent years, I've primarily been listening to songwriters and artists like Aldous Harding, Julia Jacklin, Angel Olsen, and Courtney Barnett. They are honest in a completely different way. It's easier to relate to."
